OMG!!

I can't believe the time i had last night a Broadway Showgirls on Broadway, SF. The place to be between 5pm and 7pm for happy hour. Free buffet and $3 drinks, wOw!

I took a good year off from going just to return as a queen. We were treated like royalty (not like spending $300 a visit wouldn't justify that treatment) non the less, we had to fight them off and look what they gave me ..

.. not to mention ..

When Work is Fun

Now Playing: the fan blowing in my office
Topic: Work
I have never been one to complain about my job so you don't know to much about what it is that I do, but don't expect me to bore you now with the GREAT details.

Once in a while my job takes me on the road. Mostly here within the sunny state of Cali. I did get the opportunity to go to DC for work a few years back. All expenses paid by my employer of course. This time, in November, my work will be taking me to sunny San Diego, CA, the Mission. I have stayed at this location before and already know the surrounding area.

I'm online now (doh) doing some searching for what 'Gothic Venues' are still in operation since my last visit. ..

Klubs

This one seems to be a definite stop. Going to be down there for four days, why not. Not sure how the weather will be by then, but I'm used to sunny or foggy.

(the more worse the weather the more Gothic the night)

I'd better get back to work now.

(more surfing for venues)

-- -- -- --

ps: the other night << we ended up having sushi and sake and beer. then off to the next bar for cosmos (first round was on the owner, he's so nice). nothing to outrageous, just a hot night out for drinks.

Hey, this one sounds fun.. .. ..

Wait! OMG!! YES!! .. .. ..

Another GREAT game last night at SBC Park aka *Pac Bell Park*. We won again. Good food, good drink, peanuts all over the ground, the crack of the ball off the bat, nothing better. hee hee

Got to the park a few hours early. Cruz-ed with the dog around the bay front, checking out the local shops and restaurants. Made a mental note of some places to hang at, prior to game time, other then the usual places. Found this great little place -- didn't write the name down, but, they have books and mocha's and various teas from around the world. The outside garden over looking the bay front is unsurpassed by some of the other outside establishments up and down the bay front. I think this place is going to be my next fav hangout.

OH! Oh! oh!

We stopped into this restaurant last night, by where we parked the cars. ((jell-O shooters again at the cars, lol)) Delancy Street Restaurant was the name. wOw! What a place, best prices and the powerful staff, right there in force to assist with your every need, can't beat their prices anywhere in the city. It will be our next stop, very soon, game or not. :)

ok, must go 4 now, i'm missing the game.

What a game, what a day. I was parked and ready for drinking at 9:15am.

It's been a game, a week, now for a couple of months. Not till yesterday's double header had I felt so tired.

Met up with my sister, held a parking spot for her along the street across from the ballpark, for the third time, lol. She shows up in her flashy red camera ready to party. She made Jell-O shooters, WooHoo!! Rum and Vodka mixed with jell-O and then frozen in ice trays, woah baby, hold me down.

I could not believe that the ballpark wasn't even sold out. We had multiple seats in various sections on a whim, what a blast. Sun then shade then more sun. Oh. Tried one of those Smirnoff Ice, mMm good. Plus we HAD to have a couple of Cosmos as well, we had worked up a thrist. It was a wild time. They didn't stop serving food and drinks till the second game after the seventh inning. Half time was fun fun fun, back at the cars for the second ice tray of jell-O shooters. hee hee

We stayed till the very end. Fog had rolled in and it was mighty cold out. Neither of us had much on so we had to buy some Giants gear to keep warm.

Funny thing is that neither of us had more then one hotdog each, all day, just drinks and shooters.

We ended up back at the cars for the third and final ice tray of Jell-O shooters after the game. We must have sat there laughing and telling stories for a few hours cause next thing I knew it was 11pm and very dark out. The street emptied out of all the fans and their cars leaving just us there living it up in the car, lol.

I have to say that the day was nice, sunny and warm till the last three innings. The hotdogs were exceptionally good and extra hot. The drinks were good and strong and made with a smile. Which because of the pain of the day after, at work, I'm having a bit of a hard time getting that smile to work for me today.

I got the car washed, now it's time to do some of the finer detailing. The matts have got to come out and get a hosing (what about u?) <--settle! I see i'm going to need to get down and dirty on my knees for this job. <--settle, once again.

My cravings for the day are all sumned up in a fresh organic avacado, home grown tomato on today's baked sourdough roll.. mMm, after describing it i can't wait for it, by4now.

OMG! I'm so stoked. Bill will be in town, up the block from my work next tuesday, for his Berkeley book signing. Placed me order today and will assume my place in line sometime either Monday or Tuesday. How exciting. There was this rush in the air today, in Berkeley. Everyone hussling about. There was an extra presence of cops as well. I heard that there were over 10 thousand people who showed up for the New York signing. I told my bosses today that we might have difficulties just accessing the city that day and parking will be at a minimum. < maybe a unscheduled closure is in order :P maybe have a Bill's in town bash of some sort?!

wOw! Went to see the Giants vs The Boston Red Sox. What a game. The Sox have not played in SF EVER. The ball park was packed, standing room only. McCovy Cove was packed with boats of all kinds. The sun came out around the 5th inning. It didn't matter if there was sun or not. Just seeing Pedro Martinez pitch was the shiznik, lol. < no NO, i'm a Giants fan, really. Edgardo Alfonzo, just after i got done screeming his name; he hit a pinch-hit, two-run homerun to put us a head 6-4. It seemed tied forever at 4-4, the Sox came back to almost win the game. Ha!

Ok, i must make up some eats.

GAS WARS
Mood:  irritated
Now Playing: the food network on tv
Topic: Gas Prices

Got this tidbit of info online, needed to share it somewhere here on my site. I think it is a good idea..

Forcing a Gasoline Price War

Join the resistance!!!!

I hear we are going to hit close to $3.00 a gallon by the summer.
Want gasoline prices to come down? We need to take some intelligent,
united action. Phillip Hollsworth, offered this good idea: This
makes MUCH MORE SENSE than the "don't buy gas on a certain day"
campaign that was going around last April or May! The oil companies
just laughed at that because they knew we wouldn't continue
to "hurt" ourselves by refusing to buy gas. It was more of an
inconvenience to us than it was a problem for them.

BUT, whoever thought of this idea, has come up with a plan that can
really work.

Please read it and join with us!

By now you're probably thinking gasoline priced at about $1.50 is
super cheap. Me too! It is currently $1.97 for regular unleaded in
my town.

Now that the oil companies and the OPEC nations have conditioned us
to think that the cost of a gallon of gas is CHEAP at $1.50- $1.75,
we need to take aggressive action to teach them that BUYERS control
the marketplace....not sellers. With the price of gasoline going up
more each day, we consumers need to take action. The only way we are
going to see the price of gas come down is if we hit someone in the
pocketbook by not purchasing their gas!

And we can do that WITHOUT hurting ourselves. How? Since we all rely
on our cars, we can't just stop buying gas. But we CAN have an
impact on gas prices if we all act together to force a price war.
Here's the idea: For the rest of this year, DON'T purchase ANY
gasoline from the two biggest companies (which now are one), EXXON
and MOBIL. If they are not selling any gas, they will be inclined to
reduce their prices. If they reduce their prices, the other
companies will have to follow suit. But to have an impact, we need
to reach literally millions of Exxon and Mobil gas buyers.

It's really simple to do!! Now, don't whimp out on me at this
point...keep reading and I'll explain how simple it is to reach
millions of people!!

I am sending this note to about thirty people in a couple emails. If
each of you send it to at least ten more (30 x 10 = 300) and those
300 send it to at least ten more (300 x 10 = 3,000)...and so on, by
the time the message reaches the sixth generation of people, we will
have reached over THREE MILLION consumers! If those three million
get excited and pass this on to ten friends each, then 30 million
people will have been contacted! If it goes one level further, you
guessed it..... THREE HUNDRED MILLION PEOPLE!!!

Again, all YOU have to do is send this to 10 people. That's all (If
you don't understand how we can reach 300 million and all you have
to do is send this to 10 people.... Well, let's face it, you just
aren't a mathematician.

But neither am I, but trust me on this one.

How long would all that take? If each of us sends this email out to
ten more people within one day of receipt, all 300 MILLION people
could conceivably be contacted within the next 8 days!!! I'll bet
you I didn't think you and I had that much potential, did you!
Acting together we can make a difference.

If this makes sense to you, please pass this message on. PLEASE HOLD
OUT UNTIL THEY LOWER THEIR PRICES TO THE $1.30 RANGE AND KEEP THEM
DOWN. THIS CAN REALLY WORK

Have a happy day!!!
